How much does snagging software cost?

The spread here is wider than in any other construction software category, because the products are not doing the same job.

Every figure above was read on the supplier's own pricing page on 15 August 2026 and is reproduced, not estimated and not converted. PlanRadar shows two figures per tier under a Monthly and Annual toggle, with annual stated to save more than 10%, so we have read the lower figure as the annual rate. Fieldwire's page offers a British Pound option we could not exercise, so its prices here are the US dollar ones it served us.
Per user is the wrong unit for snagging, and everyone knows it
Snagging is the one construction workflow where the people who need access are mostly not your employees. A per-user licence that also charges for every subcontractor turns a £119 a month tool into something quite different. Two suppliers have solved this in opposite ways. PlanRadar states that subcontractors and watchers are unlimited and included free on every tier, so you pay for your own team only. Snagmaster does not publish a price at all but states unlimited users, unlimited projects and unlimited signatories. Fieldwire charges per user on its paid tiers, with 5 users on the free Basic plan. Ask any supplier the same question first: who counts as a user, and do the trades count?

The cheap end is genuinely usable, for one person
Site Audit Pro at £12.90 as a one-off plus an optional £6.99 a month is not a stripped demo: its free plan covers offline projects, issue details, photo annotation, signatures and branded PDF reports. For a single site manager walking plots and emailing a report the same evening, that is the whole job. What it will not do is pin a snag to a drawing, give a subcontractor a login, or track a resident's defect through a two-year aftercare period. Those are the three things that make the rest of this list cost what it costs.
